Home Runs for Dog Homes!
Pete and Haley are massive dog lovers, and even have two rescue pups of their own. They are huge advocates for rescue dogs, and are fiercely dedicated to supporting dogs in need. This year, their foundation will be donating $1,000 for every home run Pete hits. BARK is so proud to be able to partner with such a wonderful organization that is helping out so many dogs in need. However, with BARK being BARK, we had to up the ante a little bit. We have pledged to give back to dogs in need every time Pete steps up to the plate. Keep reading to see how much we are donating (spoiler alert: we are ready to donate $1,000,000)!

Every time Pete steps up to the plate, he’s not just playing baseball—he’s making a difference for dogs in need. Here’s how BARK is turning Pete’s hits into home runs for dogs.
With each at-bat, BARK donates $100 to the "Homeward Bound" initiative, supporting shelters to find loving homes for every dog.
When Pete is safe at first, BARK donates $100 to keep dogs safe.
When Pete hits a double bagger, BARK donates $200 worth of BARK Kibble bags.
For every triple Pete hits, BARK donates $500 worth of treats and goodies.
When Pete hits a home run, BARK donates $1,000 to help dogs get a home.
If Pete hits a cycle in any regular season game, BARK donates $1,000,000.00!!

A cycle is when a player hits a single, a double, a triple, and a home run in the same game! In 2023, only four MLB players hit for a cycle during a game. The odds are low, but we believe in Pete!
