FAQs
My pup NEEDS dog Crocs — what sizes are available?
Don’t worry, we have 3 sizes to cover a wide range of breeds. Your dog’s size is based on how much they weigh and their paw length and width, so be sure to take a look at our size chart below.
How do I measure my dog’s paws?
Easy! Place their paw on a piece of paper. Use a pencil to mark the back of the paw pad, the tip of the longest claw, and the left and right of the paw pads. Paw length = the distance from the bottom of the paw pad to the tip of the front toenail. Paw width = the distance from left side to right side of the paw pad.
How should my dog’s Crocs fit?
Like Goldilocks, you want them to be neither too loose nor too tight. There should be enough room for their paws to move naturally, but no extra wiggle room to trip them up. Adjust the strap accordingly, and be sure to check regularly for any rubbing or discomfort.
What do I do about the dew claw?
Your dog’s dew claw should be tucked into their Crocs before you adjust the strap. If instead the dew claw rests on top of the Crocs opening, it’s a bad fit (this is why we don’t recommend our shoes for dogs with stumpy legs, like Corgis).
My dog’s nails are sooo long. Does that affect fit?
Time for a pedicure! Toe nail length can affect comfort, so we recommend a trim first.
Will my dog walk funny in Crocs?
Yes, and please don’t embarrass your little style icon by laughing. Dogs need time to adjust to any shoe, so it’s important to break them in slowly. Start with walking around the house, then try short strolls, and build up to wearing on their usual walks.
Besides looking cool, why do dog Crocs rock?
They protect the toe beans! Paws are sensitive to heat, cold, and irritants. But with dog Crocs, pups can strut safely plus their feet are nice and clean when they get home.
