Lights, Please: BARK, Company Behind BarkBox, Launches Peanuts-Themed Subscription Box for December
December 1, 2020 - The holidays are here, and BARK, the company behind BarkBox, is celebrating with the world’s most famous beagle! BARK announced today a collaboration with Peanuts Worldwide to create Peanuts-themed subscription boxes for BarkBox, a monthly themed surprise of dog toys, treats and chews, and Super Chewer, a monthly subscription box for dogs who play tough and love a challenge. The boxes will be available to subscribers starting today for the month of December, while supplies last. The popular Peanuts characters Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown and other members of the gang have been reimagined as dog toys this holiday season. The Peanuts-themed BarkBox features a plush Skating Snoopy, Deck The Halls Woodstock, Good Duck, Chuck! treats, Good Beef treats and a classic meaty BARK chew, with the option to add additional toys and treats. Super Chewer subscribers who purchase the Peanuts-themed box receive the same treats and chew with a vanilla-scented, solid rubber Snoopy and cream-scented Good Ol’ Ornament. Like all BARK toys, the Peanuts toys are bright, durable and perfect for dogs of all ages and sizes. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with a like-minded brand such as Peanuts to bring the holiday magic of Charlie Brown and friends to dogs and dog parents everywhere,” said Henrik Werdelin, Co-founder of BARK. “Snoopy is one of our favorite characters, not just because he is a dog, but also because he portrays the funny, yet affectionate, relationship that dogs have with their dog parents.” “Peanuts has been a beloved multi-generational holiday tradition for decades,” said Lindsay Martinez, Senior Vice President North American Licensing and Partnerships for Peanuts Worldwide. “We are so excited that our fans will now be able to share this joy with the furry members of their families as well.” Since its founding in 2012, BARK has served more than 3 million dogs, shipped over 18 million BarkBox and Super Chewer boxes with more than 135,000 custom configurations each month and cultivated an engaged community of more than 8 million social media followers.
