Manhattan Muffs

by Dylan O'Brien

EAR PROTECTION FOR DOGS THAT LIVE IN A CITY THAT NEVER SHUTS THE HELL UP.

Dylan O'Brien with Tony the dog wearing Manhattan Muffs

Garbage trucks at 6am. Nonstop sirens. Skateboards on pavement.

Yoko Ono walking by screaming, singing, or just talking.

These are the harsh acoustic realities of living in NYC for dogs.

Your dog didn't choose to live in New York City. But you can choose to give them peace.

The Problem We Don't Talk About

New York City averages 85 decibels during daylight hours. That's the equivalent of standing next to a running garbage disposal. Continuously. For twelve hours.

Dogs hear frequencies we cannot perceive. They process sound four times faster than humans. What we experience as background noise, they experience as assault.

We moved here for the culture, the energy, the opportunity. Our dogs just moved here because we did. Manhattan Muffs exists because they deserve better than our choices.
